A Kakamega court yesterday issued a warrant of arrest for a man who allegedly caused the death of two young boys while circumcising them.

Resident Magistrate Roselyne Organyo ordered that Protus Andaro be brought before court for allegedly causing the death of Godffrey Wiraka aged two, Reginant Shihembetsa aged three.

The magistrate issued the warrant of arrest after a public inquest into the cause of death of the two boys, the children of Charles and Rosemary Bulemi.

The boys reportedly died on AUgust 11 and 14, 1994, at Makhokho Sub-location in Ikolomani Division.

Oganyo said in her ruling that Andaro who performed the circumcision was the one to blame.

She also said she was satisfied that the prosecution had established evidence to show Andaro was negligent.
