The Guide's editorial "Stop Circumcision" demonstrates that circumcision is about more than whether a gay man prefers his partners "cut or uncut." Because this anti-sexual surgery is forced on more than half of all American born boys, it legitimately concerns justice-seeking gays and lesbians who care about human rights of body ownership and self-determination.

As openly gay men, Director Lawrence Dillon and I produced a new video examinining the ethics and the human rights issue of infant male circumcision. Whose Body, Whose Rights? is being aired on select PBS stations around the country.

Stop circumcision! But how? Considering lesbian and gay parenting? Contact NOCIRC or CRC. Want to educate and empower other men to agitate for social change? Join NOHARMM.
